 Encaustic is an art form dating  back centuries. The method involves heating a mixture of beeswax, resin, and color pigments and using this as the painting medium. Our encaustic paintings are comprised of multiple layers of pigmented wax resulting in a sculptural, multi-dimensional feeling.

 These reproductions of original calligraphic  artworks are available either framed or unframed, and in a variety of coordinating mat colors. Our custom framed prints are dry mounted and feature archival mat boards, hardwood frames in either dark cherry or oak finishes, and are papered and wired on the back for hanging.
